As advertisers flock to YouTube to promote their products and services through video ads, you may find yourself encountering more ads while watching your favorite content. Fortunately, there’s a way to bypass these interruptions and enjoy uninterrupted viewing.
Here’s a simple trick to stop seeing ads on YouTube videos:
Step 01: Play the Video: Start playing the YouTube video as you normally would.
Step 02: Modify the URL: While the video is playing, go to the URL bar in your browser. You’ll notice that the URL starts with “youtube.com.”
Step 03: Insert a Hyphen: Insert a hyphen (-) between “youtube” and “.com” in the URL. So, it should look like “yout-ube.com.”
By inserting the hyphen in the URL, you effectively bypass the ads and enjoy uninterrupted playback of the video from start to finish, without the need to click the Skip button to skip the ad.
Keep in mind that while this method may work to block ads temporarily, it’s not an official solution provided by YouTube. Also, remember to support content creators whenever possible, as they rely on ad revenue to sustain their channels and produce more content.
Happy ad-free viewing!
